I just had a looooovely night yesterday !!
昨日はNYのファッショニスタが揃って
meatpackingのショールームに集まりました
お目当ては
Alexander McQueenと
Barlas Baylarのコレクションのお披露目。
簡単に言えば
家具の世界の王様と
ファッションの世界の王様のコラボ
そのベールが降りる瞬間を
どうしても一目見たくて
私も仕事先から飛んで行きました
(so i didn’t have enough time to dress UP :-((
シャンパンとブルスケッタでお出迎えされて
一歩入ればもうMcQueenの世界
一階のMcQueenの2011年のコレクションはファーやウールが凄くゴージャス！スカルのジュエリーにも♥を奪われました
二階のBarlas Baylarのコレクションルームのあちこちから、”WOW”のため息が….
Haaaah 私の今の小さいスタジオにも彼の家具の為ならスペースを作りたい！
Baylarが小さなアパートで家具を作っていた頃を知る方とお話出来て
”いつかこんな大きなショールームを持つと思ってたの！”
と貴重なお話を聞く事が出来ました。
しかも彼の家具作りのテクニックは
日本で使われていた
ねじと釘と接着剤を使わない方法を参考にしたみたい！
Yeees JAPAN ! :D
私はこういう些細な事でも
背筋が倍伸びるぐらい嬉しくなる！
McQueenの2012 Resort Collectionも
Barlasの家具に囲まれて美しかったです
ゲスト達のファッションも洗礼されてて
特にWillow Smithがとってもキュートでした！
Sarah Burtonのロマンチックでエレガントな世界と
Baylarのドラマチックでダイナミックな世界に心奪われました
I’m totally impressed !!
最後に私の大好きなMcQueenのCollection
夏にMet Museumであった
McQueenのexhibitionがちょうど恋しくなっていたので
とっても良い空気吸えました …. thank you New York!
